I am a multimedia artist, and dogs are my subjects! I create my art with acrylic paints on canvas and gesso board, and create digital paintings which are then reproduced onto many items- from canvas and archival quality watercolor paper, to wearable items. I have also used fabric dyes, inks, and paints to create wearable art on women's tops, jeans, and shoulder bags.
I enjoy sharing the process I go through to create my art, so you will often find photos here of works in progress as well as finished pieces.
There is ordering information in the pages section, in the left column. If you have any questions or are interested in ordering after visiting my blog, you may email me at

I am an animal lover, and still work as a Certified Master Groomer with 25 years experience. I feel this intimate, day-to-day experience with dogs has helped immensely with portraying them in my artwork.
I get great satisfaction from creating art for people, and it's wonderful to see their reaction when it is of their own beloved dog.
I own three furry 'kids' at the moment, two German Shorthaired Pointers and one Maltese mix. All are rescues, and all are adored by their 'mom'!
I enjoy attending dog shows, and training and showing in obedience trials.
I guess I will always be a 'dog nut', and if you are reading this blog, you probably are, too! :-)
(Special thanks to my friend Barbara of SunshinePortraits.com for this photo of Roo and I!)
I just received these photos today from Barbara, the lady I made the flower and butterfly jeans for- the butterflies were for her, the flowers for her daughter. It's great to see them on the people who order them- thank you, Barbara! :-)
